Abbey Road Studios, in Session with Volkswagen Beetle
To celebrate the return of the iconic Beetle, Channel 4 and London's legendary Abbey Road Studios teamed-up with Volkswagen to create a new TV music series, Abbey Road Studios, in Session with Volkswagen Beetle.
Produced by Live From Abbey Road Productions, makers of the hugely successful Live From Abbey Road series, the show will featured a fantastic line-up of established and up-and-coming artists performing in session at the world's most famous studios.
The opening show was an extended length special featuring an exclusive one-off performance by Paul Weller
Not only did VW fund the series but they also promoted the show and their relationship with C4 and Abbey Road with a special teaser commercial that ran across commercial airtime on Channel 4, E4, More 4, Film 4, 4 Music alongside pre-rolls and additional short-form video content online.

In June 2013, Channel 4 broke new ground yet again, broadcasting the UKs first ever ad break made up entirely of French language adverts with English subtitles
The broadcast sponsor, Dubai, wanted to mark this huge live event and capitalise on the colossal 9million strong audience with a message that was original, relevant and celebratory
