Break Innovation: McCafe Moments

Channel 4 created a huge scale and highly collaborative partnership with OMD UK and The Outfit, 'McCafe Moments', which integrated McDonald's McCafé brand with some of the key themes, stories and characters across their flagship programmes to really engage with young and upmarket viewers. Television, and especially Channel 4 content, creates conversation and this was the inspiration behind the unique concept which showed real people talking about TV whilst enjoying the McCafe product.

Working with our creative partner The Outfit and OMD, we invented a new genre of TV advertising -a campaign of warm and engaging ‘docu-reality’ spots that would capture authentic, entertaining and emotive conversations between real, down-to-earth people about Channel 4 shows, as they caught-up over a McCafé coffee.
