The cinema release of Fame was just the sort of thing E4 get's excited about - dancing, drama and a revival of a much loved 80's cult classic.

 

EFD wanted to amplify the feel good nature of Fame and E4's feel-good brand value was the perfect fit.

 

By leveraging the brand, Fame was able to create a deeper level of engagement with th- viewer and gain cut through and stand-out within the commercial break.

 

The competition received a massive 6,700 entrants and the E4 branded competition advertising drove a total of 11,000 visitors to the microsite where they could read the synopsis, watch the trailer and enter the competition.

 

The use of an E4 branded competition allowed EFD's media campaign to work harder which resulted in a number one position in the opening weekend's UK Box Office.
