Viewers were treated to exclusive movie previews and backstage interviews two weeks before the film release.
To increase awareness Channel 4 broadcast 10” teaser spots that were broadcast through the week prior to the special break.
The effect was captured on Twitter with loads of positive comments. Over 2.6m viewers watched the break.
Universal Pictures considered it such a success that they immediately rebooked for their next release.
